I am currently a consultant in nonprofit management, research and education and serve as the Senior Research Advisor for the Women’s Sports Foundation (WSF). My services include evaluation, strategic planning, project development, and project management. Previously I was the WSF Chief Program & Planning Officer. During my 21 years with the WSF I twice served the organization as Interim CEO. I have authored papers, book chapters and research reports on women’s sports, presented at conferences around the world and have frequently been featured in the news as an expert on women’s sports in media outlets such as ABC World News, CNN, NPR, and The New York Times.

For 21 years I served the organization in a number of capacities, including a recent stint as Interim Co-CEO. I directed the advocacy, education, research and planning efforts of the Foundation. I was co-author of The Women’s Sports Foundation Report: Sports and Fitness in the Lives of Working Women and developed the award-winning GoGirlGo! Project, which in its first 10 years provided nearly a million girls with the tools to help them deal effectively with health-risk behaviors while getting physically active. I served as a Foundation spokesperson and speaker at national and international conferences on physical education and sports-related issues for girls and women and have been featured in many news outlets, including ABC World News, CNN, NPR, The New York Times, Washington Post and USA Today.
