In the staff executive role, successfully launched an organization and website focused on being a conduit of support and volunteers for nonprofit missions throughout the Greater Omaha/Council Bluffs metro.- Hired and led a team which exceeded our goal of unveiling SHAREomaha.org with 156 engagednonprofits; as of January 2022 the site now promotes 600+ nonprofits daily- Managed the team engagement, campaign creation and sponsorship for GivingTuesday402 locally from 2019-2022 yielding over $16 million in leveraged impact for metro area nonprofits- Forged key partnerships yielding public facing exposure for SHARE Omaha including NonprofitAssociation of the Midlands, the Greater Omaha Chamber Young Professionals, OmahaCommunity Foundation and Council Bluffs’ Human Services Advisory CouncilSHARE Omaha connects the community to nonprofits, yielding greater collaboration around common goals and deeper, longer-lasting relationships.SHARE Omaha serves as a community engagement conduit, connecting community members to nonprofits so they can donate, volunteer, shop for a nonprofit’s specific needs or see a calendar of events. Created the rallying cry amongst both BCBSNE employees and community partners to meaningfully and positively impact the community and greater state of Nebraska through volunteerism, sponsorships, grants and nonprofit board placements.Highlighted results:- Redesigned the department's posture of community engagement to an intentional one of corporate social responsibility with transparent and shared rationale for corporate giving and non-profit board service.- Configured a grants and sponsorship management process through CyberGrants by chairing a cross-functional review committee handling 100+ organizational non-profit gifts yearly.- Led a team which champions volunteering and saw more than 20% of the employee base serve in United Way of the Midlands' Day of Caring with 299 employees for 2017, the largest of any employer citywide; company recognized as 2017 Corporate Community Volunteer by ServeNebraska at their annual Step Forward Awards ceremony.- Launched and managed the regular Faces of Fearless sponsored-content profile series, a storytelling campaign highlighting Nebraskans doing inspirational and motivational work, in the Omaha World-Herald and its statewide newspaper network.

Recruited and directly managed a team of AmeriCorps VISTA members focused on building organizational capacity.Highlighted results:- Led efforts increasing the Omaha individual donor base more than tenfold in less than two years.- Stewarded and crafted successful multi-year grant proposals securing $2.7 million in operational funds.- Initiated, planned, and executed the first signature friend/fundraiser event – the Possibilities Challenge.- Earned multiple feature stories, on-air interviews and op-eds in prominent local media outlets.

As the organization’s first Director in its 20+ year history, managed all administrative, legislative, marketing, and membership activities for the state’s arts advocacy organization, and coordinated activities of four committees.Highlighted results:- Organized and attended Congressional appointments with Nebraska’s federal delegation for three national conferences- Collected data and rolled out a nationally-supported economic impact study at four press events statewide with coordinated remarks from elected officials, business executives, and arts leaders - Grew membership base by 15%; managed $100,000+ budget and executed fundraising- Wrote, distributed, and publicized advocacy action alerts pertinent to artists, arts organizations, educators, and supporters including a 1,500-person database- Implemented an advocacy plan successfully halting a bill opposing the 1% for Art statute in the Appropriations Committee - Composed presentation for Nebraska Board of Education for statewide standards in arts education

I began my relationship with Nebraska Shakespeare as its assistant site manager, and the next summer I was assistant to the managing director. After volunteering for a few summers, I was able to book the annual fall statewide tour as a consultant and most recently served as president of the volunteer community board.

As a consultant, I functioned as both the marketing and fund raising lead for Omaha Creative Institute from its inception, the primary initiative of Hot Shops Art Foundation.Highlighted results:- Secured over $80,000 in grants, taking a lead role in all applications and reporting.- Launched the organization’s initial website through WordPress managing content, event registration and payment processing.

Founded and operated a marketing, public relations, and strategy consulting service with two part-time employees offering “solutions-based” plans for clients incorporating tools such as media buys, press management, and brand/design facilitationHighlighted results:- Handled public relations projects for clients such as Metro (bus transit), Downtown Living Tour, and the Heartland Latino Leadership Conference- Selected to coordinate and market a fine art fair for Village Pointe Shopping Center with averaged 20,000+ visitors per year, 2006-2010- Originated and implemented two seasons of special promotions for Opera Omaha garnering wide media attention and partnerships

For one of the state's most thriving arts institutions, my duties included press coordination and cultivation as well as assignment and fulfillment of all television, newspaper, radio, and web-based advertising contracts and promotions for single ticket campaign.Highlighted results:- Monitored and reported value and frequency of media coverage averaging $100,000/month during the season- Co-project-managed nine outdoor concerts – marketing, site management, and staff facilitation- Implemented press plan for announcement of new music director, Thomas Wilkins- Creatively sculpted promotions to accompany advertising including contests, giveaways, meet and greets, etc.- Sustained relationship with the Omaha Symphony Guild focused on executing the Designer Showhouse fundraiser

Implemented advertising, promotion, and branding for 70,000 sq. ft. convention center and 8,500 seat arena, a new facility run by the SMG Corporation Highlighted results:- Planned public events such as an open house and dedication ceremony attracting 6,000+ attendees and VIPs- Handled press-related duties during events, participated in media interviews, and managed national press opportunities- Cultivated relationships with premium seat holders, signage sponsors, and premium seating reception space renters
