Marjorie received her degree in Bio-Resource Engineering from the University of British Columbia and spent a year at the University of Melbourne, Australia studying Hydrology & Hydraulics. She began her career in water resources restoration with Canada's Department of Fisheries & Oceans Salmonid Enhancement Program building spawning channels and rearing habitat near Vancouver, British Columbia. Marjorie moved to Montana and spent ten years working in stream restoration and floodplain management with Land & Water Consulting out of Missoula. In 2005 she moved to Portland, Oregon to open an office for PBS&J. In Portland, Marjorie worked on mitigating urbanization impacts to stream health by using basin specific strategies to manage stormwater that integrate with floodplain management and ecological objectives. She worked at Clean Water Services developing stormwater basin master plans and tools to address erosion in cohesive soil streams. Then she worked for ESA specializing in ecosystem restoration and stormwater management. In 2014 she founded Wolf Water Resources to bring a new perspective to management and restoration of our natural resources. She spends her free time wandering around local streams and forests with her dogs.
