As the first person to serve as Baker Donelson's Chief Growth Officer, I focus on law firm mergers, opening new offices, and small group growth. I also manage all levels of attorney recruiting and integration. My primary goal is to ensure that Baker Donelson's talent growth strategies are aligned with the law firm's strategic vision. As a practicing attorney, I served as leader of my firm’s Corporate/M&A practice group and helped clients structure, negotiate and execute middle market M&A deals, joint ventures, and other business combinations. My industry experience includes transactions and strategic initiatives in wireless technology, manufacturing, private equity, financial services, and international transactions.I have served as the Director of Operations for Baker Donelson's Business Department, where I focused on driving revenue and profitability growth, building high functioning and productive teams, and ensuring the department exceeded its financial budget. Additionally, I serve on the advisory board of my firm’s Women’s Initiative and on our Diversity Committee.I have also worked as a strategy consultant for Boston Consulting Group, as general counsel for an Atlanta-based technology manufacturer, and as senior in-house M&A counsel for Bechtel Corporation. I have been a founding Board Member of two charter schools.
