The last ten years of my professional career has mostly been with Kevothermal/SealedAir driving growth in a new business organization, Bio-Thermal Assurance. At Kevothermal, I started out as a process engineer, and quickly moved up to Plant Manager. After a short stint with another company, I returned as the Operations and Technical Director responsible for the operational and P&L oversight of the Kevothermal business. Additionally, I provided technical and project leadership for development of a new product, TempGuard, that is utilized for short-duration cold temperature shipments.My accomplishments include:• Grew the Kevothermal US facility direct margin by 13% and EBITDA by 68% through capital strategy, cost reductions and organizational development.• Delivered manufacturing capital deployment strategies support 15% CAGR over 10 years, including a $4M+ expansion and factory relocation.• Provided technical leadership over the Kevothermal UK operations, testing lab startup in US and Singapore locations, and product integration for Bio-Thermal Assurance business strategy.• Led Tempguard technical development that secured the first business win of $2M+ annually.

During my time at Upsite Technologies, I developed technical design and business justifications to support new product launches. I led the contract manufacturing negotiations for product manufacturing requirements and pricing to support global product delivery. In addition, I was responsible for the marketing and sales strategies for new product launches, which included the creation of a product development roadmap; implementing new product pricing & marketing strategies; collaborated with marketing team on product positioning in the data center market.

• Increased factory capacity by more than 20% through process improvement initiatives such as process improvements, equipment redesigns and work center simplifications.• Provided analysis and product design justification for improved test methods while maintaining production quality assurance.• Led product design initiatives for evaluating rotational molding techniques, product performance characterizations and part integration for overall cost and manufacturing time reductions.

NanoPore Insulation is developing the manufacturing process while at the same time expanding into various market segments where thermal performance is extremely critical, such as controlled temperature packaging, appliances, and construction applications.

• Developed process methodology and mechanical design for highly innovative, aesthetic photvoltaic (PV) modules, established characterization methods for various PV materials through spectro-photometer evaluations and explored unique materials for module assembly.• Co-developed innovative low-voltage, “plug and play” extensible solar platform resulting in a patent-pending corporate technology architecture concept (Self-Powered Device Interface). • Developed application concept and patent submission for Intelligent Load Application Interface (ILAI) demonstrating the strength of Pralos SPDI architecture model, developing a path for for off-grid solar application system design optimization.

• Established process requirements, recipes, reliability validation, metrology qualification and key process parameters for transferring Intel’s newest microprocessor product platforms to multiple, world-wide high-volume manufacturing facilities. • Instrumental in implementation of statistical process control system for improving product manufacturing across Intel global production sites, and successfully led transfer of latest microprocessor platform through utilization of newly developed SPC system.• Directed all aspects of the multi-generation mobile validation systems program including: customer relations management; product requirements documentation; budgetary and resource estimations and project scheduling. Established a product roadmap, enabling multiple supply chains, tracking organizational costs and managing a successful performance-to-schedule on a first-ever product deployment program.• Directed product design and manufacturing requirements; managed team members in development of cost improvement, through-put times, and sub-assembly outsourcing strategies; and conducted supplier qualifications to ensure compliance with manufacturing quality and design requirements.• Established manufacturing strategies to promote increased production levels by more than 200% through temporary labor, overtime, and build-ahead models.
