Mark Schuetz is a 35-year veteran of the wine and spirits industry having directed sales and operations as a distributor and also working with an international wine supplier. He possesses expertise in all facets of P&L management of a distribution network related to sales, operations, finance, IT, regulatory compliance, facilities and fleet maintenance, safety, security and human resources.He currently has his own consulting and management firm for distributors, and he has worked with an international wine supplier on their strategic sales and distribution initiatives in the United States as well as small wine and spirits distributors through out the USHe frequently serves as a subject matter expert to a multitude of investment companies and venture capitalist making strategic investments in the wine and spirits industry.Prior to starting his own company, he most recently served as the Vice President, Managing Director for Breakthru Beverage (formerly Premier Beverage/Charmer Sunbelt) in South Florida. During his tenure as Managing Director, Net Operating Profit Before Income Tax grew from 3.4% to 7.1% as a percent of revenue. He has been responsible for projects including; a new 650,000 sq ft facility, building additions, new conveyance and sortation systems, as well as integration of routing, picking systems and launching SAP-WMS. His facility was responsible for shipping over 4 million cases and employed over 365 employees. He also spent 22 years with National Distributing Company (currently Republic National Distributing Company) in Florida, Colorado and Georgia. He started in sales and eventually served as Vice President of Operations in Florida. Mark is a native Floridian and attended the University of West Florida with degrees in Management and Accounting while playing baseball there and eventually served as a Graduate Assistant baseball coach.Mark resides in South Florida with his wife of 32 years, Cindi, and has two children, Hillary 28 and Matthew 22.
