​Celebrating 20 years of helping corporates and investors integrate sustainability and ESG as a strategy for value creation into their products, services, and business models. Mark is currently advising corporates and investors on ESG strategy integration and leading new product development in ESG Index products, Carbon Trading Solutions, and ESG SaaS products on the Blockchain. Mark's award-winning work in ESG analytics, advisory and tech has helped benchmark, design and inform innovation of numerous business models, products, and services for corporates, investors and exchanges. He has advised on ESG matters across all sectors including Energy, Materials, Industrials, Consumer Discretionary, Consumer Staples, Health Care, Financials, Information Technology, Telecommunication Services, Utilities, and Real Estate. For example, in the Financial sector, Mark’s thought leadership contributed to Nasdaq’s strategy for ESG index products and management of its flagship global sustainability Index. In addition to corporate collaborations through MetaVu, Mark contributes to building capacity for global institutions regards sustainable business practices. He was a founding Ambassador for the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB). Mark was also a founding member of the North American Environmental Management Association (NAEM) Affiliates Council on Sustainability Management, working in partnership with 1,500 corporate members to achieve the Association's goal of advancing environment, health and safety (EHS) and sustainability management best practices. Further, Mark has advised Business and Industry Associations on good practices for ESG integration and sustainability reporting. Building ESG capacity in higher education, Mark has contributed to university MBA curriculum design in corporate social responsibility (CSR) and ESG programs, developed business/university partnerships, and guide's student career pathways through mentoring and internships. For his alma mater, Mark served on the University of Buffalo Deans Advisory Council to help integrate sustainable development principles into an integrated curriculum experience. For the University of Denver Daniels College of Business, he serves as Guest Lecturer and Executive Mentor for MBA Candidates. For the University of Colorado, Mark has lectured at the J.P. Morgan Center for Commodities, on “Trading in Commodity and Financial Markets – Introduction to ESG Investing”.
