Working with the Precision Ag department at Beck's Hybrids on new projects and ideas to make precision farming more accessible to farmers.

Scouted customers fields for insects, diseases, and reported back to farmers and boss with overall conditions and required treatments. Traveled to St. Louis, Mississippi, and Iowa for company meetings and field days. Observed the sales process behind AgVenture's new precision farming/variable rate data management system on a trip to South Dakota.

Operated a wide range of landscape machinery on a variety of crews. Assisted in building Patios, mowed and trimmed lawns, worked as a contractor to mow larger building lots with farm tractor after hours.

Organized with Seed dealers, farmers, and my FFA chapter to put on a 32 variety test plot at our home farm. My activities with the plot included contacting dealers to put together all of the varieties, organizing a planting day, putting signs up to clearly mark the plot and the varieties, hosting a field day for farmers and dealers to meet and discuss the plot, and finally to organize harvest and planning for the next year.
