• Command Information and Knowledge Management (IM/KM) Specialist supporting the command’s mission of providing DOD support to civil authorities in response to various hazards. • Guiding the command toward a knowledge-centric, information sharing environment for more than 4000 military responders. Provide advice/guidance to command and directorate leadership on IM/KM process improvement initiatives to enable informed decision making. Enhance the flow of critical information by implementing IM/KM best practices such as process standardization, enhanced discoverability, and content management business rules.• Developed and manage the command's “DOD365-J” Microsoft Teams/SharePoint Online (SPO) tools and processes. Orchestrating the command’s data transition from the current folder-within-folder file structure to a metadata-enabled flat file structure in compliance with DoD Information Sharing and Data Strategy regulations. Developed a baseline organizational taxonomy and metadata schema to enhance discoverability of relevant information. Completely restructured and improved access and data security procedures. • Conceptualized and created a command Data Access Page for Operational/Exercise (OP/EX) data. Incorporated the command’s taxonomy/metadata construct. Enabled metadata cross-referencing of data across all JTF-CS DoD365 applications. Led the migration of command data from the legacy data repositories to the DAP libraries. • Command Knowledge Management Officer within the Army's Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC). Helped lead major improvement efforts of the command’s collaboration and information sharing processes, technologies, policies and strategies throughout the command, as well with key stakeholders such as the Department of the Army Headquarters, and Department of Defense. • Played a significant role in the Army's transition to the command’s enterprise Microsoft Office 365 (designated “Army 365”) SharePoint Online (SPO) platform. Established migration preparation requirements, priorities, timelines and data migration procedures. • Helped formulate the recreation of incompatible SharePoint 2013 functionality onto the new SPO environment. • Temporarily assigned to the command’s G6 (IT) department. • Military Sealift Command Knowledge Management Officer. Assisted with the command's transition toward a knowledge-information sharing culture. Managed the sharing of organizational data throughout the command, as well with key stakeholders to include US Fleet Forces Command (USFF), US Transportation Command (TRANSCOM), USAF Air Mobility Command (AMC) and the US Maritime Administration (MARAD).• Government lead for the command’s Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) DOD Enterprise Portal Service (DEPS) “iNAVY” non-classified (NIPRNet) enterprise portal, and the on-prem Classified Fleet Forces Online (CFFO) SIPRNet portal. • Responsible for portal development, modifications, upgrades, and access. Oversaw/monitored the execution of work performance of 12 contract portal architects and developers. Created process business rules and Standard Operational Procedures. Ensured proper security measures. Trained portal users on portal use and functional capabilities. • Led the development of a classified MSC ship Mission Readiness dashboard, used to provide near real-time ship operational and personnel readiness status. • Personal portal development and management contributions/accomplishments set the standard for DOD organizations; resulted in the MSC’s KM team’s award of the 2017 DOD Chief Information Officer (CIO) Award, Team Category.

• Training Systems Manager and Action Officer for the Army's training accreditation Quality Assurance Office (QAO), special staff to the Commanding General, Headquarters, Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC). • Responsible for providing KM and Information Management support to TRADOC QAO staff, senior command leadership, and representatives at over 220 Army Centers of Excellence (CoE), training centers (including National Guard and Reserve) and Joint training institutions. • In coordination with the HQ TRADOC G6 Information Technology (IT) department, Information Management Office (IMO) and Chief Knowledge Office (CKO), established and managed the QAO KM program. • Within the US Joint Forces Command (JFCOM), Joint Architectures and Capabilities Engineering Directorate (J89), provided data research, analysis and automation support for the development of Joint integrated Command and Control (C2) architectures. • Compiled technical information from various sources including Service manuals and regulations; Joint Staff, DoD, NATO, and Allied doctrine; Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) source material; commercial technical manuals, journals, and various online sources/repositories. • Helped establish data sharing interrelationships between services and coalition forces. • Managed the Fort Eustis Modisett Training and Conference facility for attendees of over 350 personnel in the main theater area and three break-out rooms.
