The business was established in 1956 and run as a small family concern. I approached the owner in 2008 to undertake work on their behalf in the field and did this until 2012. In December 2012 I purchased the business and have steadily grown the business product range and customer base. Year on year the brand has grown manufacturing Funeral, Mortuary and Simtech equipment worldwide. Twiggs is now one of the most respected and proven providers to the Industry.

Joined family business with a view to taking over after the first 5 years. Undertook Management buyout in July 2013.The business has two main areas of specialism - Materials Handling and Funeral Industry Maintenance. Developed and grew the Funeral Maintenance side of the business significantly due to my proactive approach to business. My company has grown by word of mouth and reputation. As the company customer base increased so has the number of people we employ all from our local area. With the materials handling operation we work for a high supermarket providing equipment for their operation. We also undertake work for a prestigious car brand maintaining their fleet of equipment and providing handling equipment solutions.

Started as a Police Constable at Newbury progressing to Roads Policing. In particular Roads Policing Proactive, becoming part of a small, dedicated hard working team of 15 Officers. During a 6 month deployment to an area within TVP our team arrested 1000 suspects, my crew mate and I were responsible for 250 of those. Completed & passed both Ospre promotion exams and undertook 7 months as Acting Sergeant on Roads Policing. SIO for several fatal accident investigations force wide. Left the Force to pursue own business interests.

Responsible for the Output of Customer advertisements on the radio station.Creation of showreels to assist Sales Executives to sell radio airtime.Undertook external promotion work with listeners and customers alike. Production of various Audio that was broadcasted across station output on both FM and AM wavebands.
