- Learned the logic behind complex Simulink control systems including electro-hydraulic motion controls and semi-autonomous features to understand how the algorithms’ behavior is influenced by parameters or look-up tables- Fully calibrated and tuned semi-autonomous features on a large hydraulic excavator to comfortably meet customer and market requirements for cycle time and accuracy on all machine linkage and tool configurations- Became proficient at tuning the excavator’s hydraulic PID controller, resulting in faster, more consistent and more accurate performance for the upcoming annual software release- Collected machine data from onboard sensors using Ethernet and Vector CANape and analyzed the data using Excel, VS Code, Kdiff and Cat proprietary software to identify potential performance gains that can be implemented - Ran test cases using machine data in Simulink to model overall control system and subsystem allowing team to conduct more robust analysis, identify software bugs and make software improvements- Enhanced debugging skills by fixing compilation errors, writing programs to compare a list of parameters from models, and implemented a new method to compare outputs of Simulink scopes by using the Simulation Data Inspector

- Proposed a new way to stabilize jigs during the manual microscopic manufacturing process which, after multiple iterations and analyses, contributed to saving 2-3 hours of assembly time per product- Applied rapid prototyping knowledge to decide how to best add 3D printing and laser cutting into the design processes- Developed over 30 CAD parts and assemblies to be 3D printed and laser cut, including autonomous robotic manufacturing devices, probes, jigs, endoscopes, and enclosures, with tolerances up to ±0.001mm- Achieved effective communication by working closely to the CEO (Reza Khorasaninejad) and collaborating with international vendors to determine the best design of a jig based on the manufacturer's capabilities and LEADOPTIK’s requirements- Improved simplicity and usability of GUI by applying C++ and MatLab skills and implementing the Qt widget toolkit
