Job Responsibilities :As a member of the pre-opening team of Swiss-Belhotel , responsible for overseeing construction plans for main Kitchen and all outlets , design, décor, supply and logistics and to ensure the Food and Beverage Outlets soft opening will meet the deadlines set by the management .As an HOD I worked directly with the General Manager to coordinate and manage all activities pertaining to the pre-opening of the Food and Beverage outlets.Set the pre-opening Budget for the F& B department in coordination with the Financial Controller List and order OSE for the whole F&B Department in coordination with Purchasing Manager Conduct meetings with different Contractors @ the Hotel construction site.Report all pre-opening activities of the Food and Beverage Outlets to the General Manager in a weekly basis. Responsible for recruitment, training and setting goals, motivating and disciplining employees of the Food and Beverage Department as and when required.Responsible for managing the pre-opening of the hotel and overseeing multiple areas such as reviewing construction plans and design, Food and Beverage Outlets decor and material supply logistics.Coordinate all training activities with the corporate office for the F&B Employees and ensure that they are fully trained to maximize service, production and efficiency and guarantee customer satisfaction and retention.Conduct employee performance reviews to aid staff development and training. Controlled labor expenses and the F&B Department’s general pre-opening expenses.Review all HR matters with the HR Manager including interviewing, hiring, training, assigning work, coaching/counseling and performance appraisals.
