I work with under-achieving children from impoverished backgrounds, often being the children of recent immigrants. I teach Maths to a small support group of children aged 6 to 7 years old, ensuring that they have the building blocks of the subject, so that they can easily understand the more advanced aspects of the subject that they are covering at school.

I represent people in Social Security tribunals in appeals against a decision to take away their benefits. As of December 2013 I have represented one person and was successful. This involved holding a conference with the client, gathering evidence, for example medical information, writing submissions to the tribunal and ultimately attending the tribunal and making representations there.
