In September 2009, Laird discontinued operation in Manchester and the IAS BU. • Coordinate the monthly review of financial performance with BU management.• Analyze the performance of the business compared to plan & historical trends.• Implement corrective action with site controllers to address unfavorable financial results.• Coordinate preparation of annual budgets process and periodic interim forecasts.• Participate in the Business Opportunity Evaluation decision-making process.• Manage inventory, AR, AP and other significant cash flow impact areas within the BU. Additional responsibilities prior to the Laird acquisition, when Cushcraft was privately held with annual revenues of $30 million, were to:• Coordinate the annual financial audit conducted by the Corporation’s external auditors. • Negotiate with lending institutions to determine the amounts, terms, rates, covenants and other terms and conditions of bank financing, re-financing and compliance reporting.• Prepare financial models to forecast compliance with debt covenants. • Review and selection of benefit plans offered to employees, including health, dental, 401k and life, and determination of the cost sharing requirements to finance the same. • Preparation of financial information requested by the Corporation’s merger and acquisition advisory firm, for use in the Virtual Datasite, during the successful sale of Cushcraft Corporation to its current owner, Laird Technologies.
