My role at Mercedes Benz has a number of aspects such as managing and distributing incoming leads from a variety of communication mediums. Managing and maintaing social media platforms aswell as ensuring company websites are kept up-to-date with the latest vehicle stock. The role also requires the creation of marketing reports relating to the qualification of leads and the production of CSI reports. Key responsibilities are based around ensuring that all vehicle stock is photographed, aswell as assisting with events and marketing campaigns, for example the recent S Class launch or the ride and drive events held in various locations throughout Northern Ireland.

As part of my Industrial Placement I acted as a support role within the Sales Division, assisting the internal Sales Manager and Sales Director. I was able to man the Sales Department offering technical support to everyday customer queries. In terms of Marketing I assisted the Sales Director creating and maintaining a customer database. My role also consisted of reviewing monthly sales figures, in which indicted our KPI figures. This helped establish our current customer base and allowed me to determine new prospects for the following months ahead.Threw visiting customers such as Dale Farm, Michelin, Dunbia and Bombardier I was able to gain an insight into the process industry. I also participated in networking events such as 'Meet the Buyer' which consisted of collaborative meetings promoting local business within the Newtownabbey area.
