Serve as the BOP technical advisor on all deep water drilling operations, internationally and in the Gulf of Mexico, for the company developing the first real-time monitoring for BOP.Played a key role in establishing how the equipment should function and how it should be laid out, engaging in complex troubleshooting and issue resolution, and establishing the Real Time Operations Center (RTOC) to achieve government acceptance to put all processes in place.Worked with systems and controls personnel to develop and implement BOP monitoring, risk assessment and failure analysis until 2019, implementing new ways of failure reporting and BOP monitoring to recognize potential failures, and training staff in innovative ways of recognizing potential issues and correctly monitoring BOP pressures to report in a timely manner.Supervised four direct reports and one surveyor on each of six rigs as the lead supervisor in the BOP RTOC.Played a critical role in reducing expenses for non-productive operations and achieving 98% uptime.Obtained Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE) approval to pressure test the subsea BOP every 21 days instead of the standard 14 with the function test shear rams every 21 days and function test BOP from only one pod every seven days.Monitor equipment failures and repairs, assisting in root cause analysis.Participate in supplier relationships with BOP and BOP control system OEMs, and lead third-party BOP verification companies.Interface with drilling contractors on subsea BOP maintenance, testing and modification requirements.Actively support the application of engineering technical practices related to well control equipment.Provide advice and technical support to well teams on matters related to BOP and BOP control systems.Assist all parties during response to well control events involving subsea BOPs, and support new BOP technology development, including enhanced shearling and BOP control systems.

Identified potential sources of downtime of all BOPE, troubleshot components and control systems, established and maintained productive relationships with operators and drilling contractor personnel, applied API and governing bodies rules/regulations and recommendations while generating daily reports.
