Driving client access, community engagement, and benefits counseling operations for Disability and Vocational Rehabilitation agencies for the District. Reviewing, standardizing, and implementing process improvements that enhance performance, align with national best practices, and streamline access, I draft and roll out outreach and engagement strategies that forge stakeholder and District agency partnerships, expand outreach and build links with the underserved and limited-English communities. Conceiving solutions, I augment diversity, equity and inclusion organization-wide and evaluate client access to pinpoint opportunities that improve accuracy, access, timeliness, regulatory compliance, and the attainment of standards. Spearheading operations and the execution of a federal grant to improve the District residents' coordinated access to services and support across 5 health and human services agencies, I led and mentored a team of 4 Project Managers, ensuring the achievement of deliverables to schedules, budgets, and agreed specifications. Devising and implementing pioneering strategies and national best practices, I underpinned systematic enhancements to long-term services and supports, employing a person-centric approach plus cultural and linguistically-competent practices. Maintaining fiscal control, I draft, monitor adherence to, and report upon budgets, in collaboration with the Office of the Chief Financial Officer. Partnering with the Office of Contracts and Procurement, I expedited the contract approval process, expanded outreach and community engagement plus ensured stakeholder input on the system design, by building robust relationships with advisory groups and District agencies. I also designed and reviewed the sustainability of NWD efforts beyond the life of grant.
