These responsibilities have involved resource management, people management and overseeing the cash flow related to prescription medicines. Additionally, I assumed the role of clinical lead for both the COVID and Flu vaccine initiatives, successfully immunizing over 5000 patients.Currently, my primary project involves spearheading the medicine optimization programme. This program targets individuals who are medically vulnerable due to complex medication regimens and intricate medical histories. To achieve this, I employ effective communication techniques to gather comprehensive information regarding the patient's health status. This includes unresolved medical conditions, adverse reactions to treatments, ineffective therapies, lifestyle considerations, cognitive decline, and more. Subsequently, I formulate customised management plan tailored to address these specific issues. This is achieved through collaborative efforts with a multidisciplinary team, all aimed at enhancing the patient's overall well-being.The positive outcomes resulting from the implementation of this programme have been instrumental in securing additional funding. As a result, there is a growing potential for expanded funding opportunities across New Zealand.
