Key result areas at KCV include: • Support the Investment unit in deal sourcing and reviews of potential investees – this involves scoping and screening potential deals, participating in due diligence visits and ensuring a right fit for Investment.• Providing select Investees with pre-disbursement support – onboarding calls with investees, support in identifying required documentation pending disbursement etc. • Disbursement of funds based on fulfilment of funding requirements as per contract. • Performance monitoring of KCV investees – done through routine monitoring field visits, review of submitted narrative reports along with review of financial statements done biannually. • Identification and provision of technical assistance needs in collaboration with Investees and team members. • Provision of inhouse technical assistance to investees based on identified need. • Support in management of consultants/business support services providing technical assistance to investees in case the need cannot be provided in house. • Support investees in development of investment pitch decks and financial models. • Provision of linkages and recommendation documents to investees to boost chances of further funding from other players in the climate finance space. • Support in facilitation of online webinars to KCV portfolio companies. • Managment of an online investment attractiopn platform connecting Investees to other investors in the Kenyan market. • Representing the company in critical engagements and events in KCV areas of interest. Examples include #AYuTeChallengeKE organized by Heifer International; Wasic conference; devolution conference among others. -
