I am a teacher for a small, job training center: PIVOT Job Corps in Portland, OR. I teach and have taught classes in Reading Comprehension, Composition, Basic and GED-prep Math, Environmental Science, and ELL. I plan at least 50% of the coursework for my classes. I have created many lessons and handouts for these classes.I have also taught a class that produced a monthly school newsletter. I have created and taught classes for voting and citizen participation. I prepare students for the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) and prepare students for all tests of the GED. Although standardized tests are not the best form of assessment for everyone, I can help anyone succeed at these tests.I have a background in technology, serving as a database administrator and a technical support technician for software and networks.
