Mr Mark Andrew SohateeMBBS, MHPE, PgCertMedEd, FRCS (Tr&Orth) MAcadMEd, MFSTEd, FHEAI'm a Hip surgeon with an interest in the breadth of hip pathology from adolescence to elderly adults.This includes; Primary, Resurfacing Arthroplasty, Hip Revision Arthroplasty & Periprosthetic fracture management, as well as Post Paediatric Deformity & Hip Preservation (osteotomy & arthroscopy) for Paeds/Young adult patients. I also offer Robotic Arthroplasty. I enjoy research looking at all aspects of Hip Surgery with a focus on Patient Reported and Clinical outcomes and breaking down cognitive biases in healthcare. Having grown up in the East Midlands, I returned to the area after 17 years of practise in the North East, to develop a comprehensive hip service for patients within the region. My non-clinical interests are: medical education and understanding and tackling biases in healthcare provision and education.
