It Strategic Business Partner
As a Strategic Business Partner, I act as the strategic interface with faculties, Professional Services, and external partners for the purpose of business technology strategy development, solution discovery, and relationship management. The role requires me to be proactive and anticipatory in my thinking, and serve as a trusted advisor representing IT and in promoting IT services and capabilities.I develop and support key business relationships between business units and IT, working with senior leadership (internal and external) in order to stimulate, surface and shape strategic IT demand and ensure that the solutions and services centrally provided, offer maximum value to the University and all of its supporting activities.

To develop a strategic partnership with the Faculties and Professional Services to fully understand the ICT requirements to support their business and to use this intelligence to shape the service portfolio provided by iSolutions.To develop and agree operational plans for Faculties support in the context of iSolutions’ and University strategic plans and agreed operational objectives support of the University’s mission.To promote iSolutions services to staff and students within the Faculties and University and to liaise with the appropriate Committees and other groups at Faculty, Academic and Professional Service level to determine the needs and priorities, and the efficiency and effectiveness of the services being delivered.
