 Understands requirements of project HSE plan to ensure project health safety environment plan and company IMSHSE management system is implemented on the project Maintain B2B HSE training record up-to-date using training passport in combination with training stickers and attendance sheets independently and in coordination with subordinates. Ensure communication of HSE Policy, applicable legal requirements, HSE information and lessons learned to all project personnel. Schedule, arrange and deliver HSE / B2B (Back to Basics) training effectively to site employees to increase and maintain a high level of HSE awareness. Ensure all new employees are inducted properly into the Company and Project site HSE rules and regulations. Maintain accident/incident record for on-site and off-site accidents related to project employees, vehicles, assist project personnel for preparing first information report. Ensure safe transportation, storage, handling and disposal of chemicals. Ensure emergency response preparedness provisions/plans in place and site employees are aware of the same. Lead / Facilitate / Participate in accident/incident investigation and reporting as necessary and follow up the corrective actions until completion. Arrange and conduct emergency drills for identified emergencies on the project site and camp as per designated frequency. Ensure compliance with the permit to work system as applicable. Ensure work platforms are safe to use and meet site requirements related to working at height, access, egress and platforms. Ensure heat stress management arrangement during hot weather and perform a periodical inspection to ensure these are maintained properly. Ensure adequacy and readiness of first aid facilities replenish required items on time.  Ensure subcontractors are aware and comply with Kentz HSE rules and regulations on site.

 Conduct safety induction to new personnel Toolbox meeting held every morning before workers do their job Provide safe working atmosphere on site in monitoring employees exposure to physical/chemical hazards and recommends controls Coordinate the implementation of field specific safety programs and procedures with the consultant and client. Ensures fire and safety equipment is maintained at company facilities Conduct incident investigation and root cause analysis and recommending safety preventive measures to prevent the incident recurrence. Carrying out regular Unsafe Act/Condition Audits to quickly identify hazards at the work site with corrective actions to re-instate facility integrity to sustain safety, protect the environment and meet the HSE targets.  Work with the crews to improve safety standards and practices by participating in tool-box talks, risk assessments, inspections, audits, and sets a personal example. Involved in the Health, Safety & Environment Awareness presentations/talks preceding daily operations Active participation in Company’s emergency response simulation as a part of the emergency response team, which involves emergency drills and scenario simulation  Inspect equipment such as lifting devices, fire extinguisher, welding machine, electrical power tools and scaffoldings to make sure they meet safety regulation.

 Carry out site surveys to see that only safe work methods are in operation, that health and safety requirements are being observed, and welfare facilities are adequate and properly maintained. Coordinate with the project coordination for the proper implementation of work permits such as LOTO. Confined Space Entry, Hot and Cold Works etc.  Report unsafe acts and unsafe conditions immediate superior and concerned department head for immediate action. Ensuring that all non-routine and potentially hazardous routine jobs are carried out under Permit to Work System with associated Complimentary Certificates, and Risk assessment duly followed. Performing risk assessments of each area of company activity and making a recommendation on actions to be taken to reduce risks. Communicate to all employees the safety requirements as necessary. Evaluate and recommend. Assist operation personnel and department heads in improving work habits, promote good housekeeping and attain a safe working environment. Contribute/Share knowledge to maximise plant productivity by ensuring no man-hour wastage or lost time is incurred due to accident.
