Manages the entire University Community Engagement Program focusing on Community Development and Advocacy.Key Accomplishments:Received a Php 4.58 million grant from the Philippine Commission on Higher Education to train faculty members of different colleges and universities in the Philippines on how to integrate community engagement into teaching, research, and public service.Introduced the Learning Exchange Program Caravan for Community Engagement where UST SIMBAHAYAN visits two partner universities in the country annually to conduct a mutual exchange of best practices in community engagement in order to foster a network of socially engaged and responsive universities. Organized the Community Engaged Studies Research Interest Group (RIG) in the UST Research Center for Social Sciences and Education (RCSSED) in order to serve as the research arm of UST SIMBAHAYAN.Started the publication of the UST SIMBAHAYAN annual report where significant strides of the office in the areas of Community Development, Advocacy, and Community-Engaged Research are properly documented. Aligned all community development programs and projects based on the academic expertise of each College / Faculty / Institute of the University. This has resulted to the creation of the UST Social Transformation Framework and the creation of 8 Social Transformation Programs. Revised the Community Development and Advocacy Key Result Areas and Key Performance Indicators to be in keeping with the new 8 Social Transformation Programs and to have more synergy among community development, advocacy, and research.Strengthened and intensified the advocacy work and voice of the University, especially in matters pertaining to national concerns that transgress Gospel and Catholic Social Teachings.
