DMH Stallard has a dedicated Public Sector Prosecution Team who have considerable experience dealing with prosecution work for its clients with extremely high successful conviction rates. The team were one of the first law firms in the UK to advise local authority clients in respect of disabled badge prosecutions and have recently secured a landmark case against gaming console fraudsters on behalf of London Borough of Croydon.The team have a high success rate in recovering both legal and investigation costs against defendants, where appropriate. In all cases and following consideration of the case papers, we provide a detailed written Advice prior to prosecution.Such an Advice sets out the nature of the offence; the evidence and law (including penalties) and any additional evidential issues which may need addressing. Following each and every hearing a Court Report is sent to the client within two days detailing the outcome; next hearing date (if applicable) and next steps to be taken by the client.Mark and his Team regularly deliver training to clients.We always seek to complement the in-house team, and never compete with them.
