A career changer:-Moved into Bird conservation and worked for Bird Aware Solent as a seasonal ranger and RSPB as a Bird Conservation and Visitor Experience Officer. Worked in Mauritius as an intern, turtle monitoring and working with the local community on a coral restoration project. Currently working 2 days a week for the RSPB as a Volunteer Conservation Intern to gain experience for future Assistant Warden positions and 3 days a week for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Trust as a Trainee Assistant Reserves Officer. As a Trainee I will specifically assist in the delivery of land management in the Winchester and wider Central Hampshire area, focusing on Trust nature reserves and other managed land. Many of these sites combine significant importance for wildlife with a large number of visitors. The reserves management team, based in Winchester, have a diverse and challenging job and this role will be an important part of the team.Previously:-Senior Design Engineer and Team Leader with over 28 years' experience at the leading edge of silicon technology. Successful track record of over 28 ASIC implementations. Fully understand the key to running and motivating a multi-discipline team, essential for success in today’s high technology environment. Extensive experience with customer interface throughout all stages of design.
