MPD and PMCD expert, able to advise on all aspects of MPD, including CBHP, PMCD and UBD, with 20+ years experience in UBD, MPD and PMCD and 30+ years oil industry experience. Experienced in Deepwater MPD and PMCD planning and operations (in Asia, West Africa and South America) and in shallow water MPD, PMCD and UBD (in Asia and Europe). Able to advise project teams on how to evaluate the need for MPD, including all aspects of modelling and presenting of cases to management on a section-by-section or well-by-well basis. Experienced in defining MPD rig ready status for deepwater projects and in all aspects of MPD contracting (standalone, and integrated MPD contracts). Able to advise project teams on how to drill in total losses (e.g. carbonate karsts) using Pressurized Mud Cap Drilling. Advise Project Teams on how to drill narrow margin wells using Constant Bottom Hole Pressure techniques, including wellbore pressure window evaluation (MPD pore pressure tests, both static and dynamic, and MPD dynamic leak off tests). Able to give multi-day training in MPD and PMCD to Drilling Engineers, Drilling Supervisors, Drilling Superintendents, and Management.
