Responsible for managing multiple projects, focusing on Strategic and Wholesale Platform delivery and improvement, at any one time and working closely with stakeholders using knowledge of project management tools and techniques to lead major projects to successful delivery. Central to the role is developing and deploying projects throughout the organisation to support tactical and strategic business initiatives that enhance iiNet’s technical service offering to both internal and external customers.

This position operated as an internal consultant with the business, generating information to guide business decisions. The focus of this role was identifying and evaluating opportunities for improvement and determining the feasibility of both tactical and strategic business initiatives across both the iiNet and acquired brands.I needed to use my commercial acumen and decision making ability to guide the business toward improvements in efficiency, customer experience and to position iiNet to meet long term commercial and strategic objectives. I also oversaw and managed the implementation of improvements and initiatives and was expected to lead and mentor junior staff in the team.

This role operated as an Internal Consultant with the business, generating information to guide business decisions. With a focus upon determining the feasibility of both tactical and strategic business initiatives, the core purpose of the Business Analyst role was to collate, analyse and present information with a view to evaluating opportunities to grow and continuously improve iiNet. This contributed to positioning the business to meet long-term commercial and financial objectives.This position was information rich and dealt with diverse groups of internal and external stakeholders located across multiple sites and time zones. Internally, I had to remain well informed of the current and future business position, drawing upon relationships within the organisation to source and communicate information. As a Business Analyst I was also positioned at the forefront of interpreting and evaluating the continually shifting external environment within which iiNet operates, drawing upon external information and resources at a global industry level.

I supervised a rapidly expanding team until at its peak two Team Leaders and myself, as Contact Centre Manager, were responsible for up to 50 staff members.This position was responsible for the high level management of the Sales Contact Centre to produce an efficiently run operation that embodied the brand values of Westnet to deliver a high level of customer satisfaction and service. As Contact Centre Manager I was responsible for not only guiding the strategic direction of the centre, but monitoring the day-to-day performance to oversee the allocation and use of all resources, with staff and workflow management at the heart of the role.The position operated in a fast paced, dynamic environment with multiple and competing demands upon my attention and time. This position had intense staff and customer interaction requirements with people and operational management the focus of the role.As the team and business expanded rapidly I became more interested and focused on the analytics side of things and when the opportunity to become the Sales Analyst for the Business arose I applied for this new role.
