The AVP, Insurance Product Management is responsible for leading the team overseeing Sun Life Financial's Individual products and strategies. This team works across the organization with a drive to achieve sales and profit goals. In addition they have accountability for sales strategy oversight to ensure Sun Life understands, approves and manages the methods in which our products are being put to use. This mandate will help both ensure appropriate compliance risks are managed as well as understanding how our insurance solutions support Client goals.

The AVP, Strategic Business Development & Marketing Actuary’s primary purpose is to further reinforce our position to differentiate Sun Life financial via our Strategic Business Development stream via thought leadership and insight. This is a key aspect of a competitive advantage that we are driving and an area that we will continue to emphasize and invest in. This role will further generate confidence, trust and interest in Sun Life’s individual insurance products amongst insurance advisors via the delivery of in-depth insight; technical views and information; valued sales concepts and ideas. It will also enable us to differentiate the level of engagement we bring to our advisor partners via investing in them to further inform and educate and to enable them to grow and expand their business.
