I worked for the DT Group as their Senior Graphic Designer. I worked on projects big and small, gaining more valuable experience in annual reports, magazines, brochures, media packs, Info-graphics, adverts for print and web, leaflets, posters, exhibitions, website banners, email and online marketing. I also kept the company’s social media up-to-date and created supporting artwork for this along with video content. Working on multiple jobs at a time, I was able to utilise my time management skills to great advantage. I also used PowerPoint to great effect to create interactive presentations to support our marketing and sales teams. I was responsible for the management of workflow into the department, including administration of jobs and keeping these up-to-date.

Worked for 8 years as a Graphic Designer for Pennant, working for the marketing department and on briefs for a variety of clients including; Ministry of Defence (MoD), United Kingdom Hydrographic Office (UKHO), Fujitsu, and charities including; Street Soccer Academy and Act4Africa. I worked within a team and independently on a range of briefs, small and large scale, print and digital, working to tight deadlines. The experience I gained through Pennant was invaluable.

Worked for three years as a Graphic Designer in the Auto Trader studio. Working solely on in-house design materials including newsletters, web templates, job vacancies, charity events and work incentives. Occasionally working on the Auto Trader magazine itself. During this time I learnt how to organise myself and my duties, co-operating with other work colleagues and demonstrating my reliability and flexibility. Working as part of a team was essential in extending and developing my skills in communication, and the ability to contribute with other team members within meetings.
