    Electric Dreams Festival of Immersive Storytelling, a collaboration between Crossover, The National Theatre and the British Film Institute, is coming to the South Bank in Summer 2019. It's the UK’s first festival dedicated to celebrating creativity and storytelling in immersive media featuring virtual reality, augmented reality, neurogames, interactive storytelling, immersive theatre, live events, performances and installations. The festival focus will be a large-scale, public-facing arcade of immersive media experiences. This exhibition will spill out onto the South Bank of the Thames to create a true festival atmosphere, including immersive experiences, interactive art installations, live demos and performances. Talks and masterclasses from the leading producers and thinkers in immersive media will be open to the public and industry alike, and you’ll be able to take part in hands-on workshops on how to create your own immersive experiences led by some of the artists and producers in the exhibition.

    I ran the 2014 edition of the Sheffield Doc/Fest - a recording breaking year with more delegates, higher public attendance, more national and international press, radio and TV coverage and a higher volume of deals done at the Meet Market and Crossover Market than ever before. Doc/Fest is one of the biggest documentary festivals in the world, comprising a Film Festival, Industry Session programme and Marketplace, offering pitching opportunities, controversial discussion panels and in-depth filmmaker masterclasses, as well as a wealth of inspirational documentary films from across the globe and world-famous parties. It is also at the forefront of digital innovation with Interactive at Sheffield bringing together a conference program, an exhibition and marketplace for interactive work. As Acting Festival Director, I was responsible for delivering the program and market activity for Doc/Fest 2015, managing the staff and budget, overseeing fund-raising and marketing, reporting to the board and funders and managing and developing relationships with stakeholders.
