Crossover Labs is a producer, curator and training provider. CURATORAs well as producing the work above, Crossover curates exhibitions and conferences on immersive media at festivals such as The Sheffield Doc/Fest, The Global Health Film Festival, The Bergen International Festival, The World Congress of Science and Factual Producers, The Festival of the Mind.TRAININGCrossover Labs runs workshops in immersive media development, Virtual Reality Production, 360 video production and Photogrammetry around the world.MENTORINGMark acts as immersive media mentor on development programs such as Documentary Campus Masterschool and ESoDoc.

CPH:LAB brings together emerging and established talent across film, immersive media, art and technology to develop interdisciplinary project concepts and advance new visions of what documentary can be, by using new technologies, reaching new audiences and giving voice to new perspectives. Each participant team includes at least one creative and one technologist and we aim to transcend the limits of traditional film and documentary practices by developing projects that harness the potential of new media, technologies, and distribution methods.

Electric Dreams Festival of Immersive Storytelling, a collaboration between Crossover, The National Theatre and the British Film Institute, is coming to the South Bank in Summer 2019. It's the UK’s first festival dedicated to celebrating creativity and storytelling in immersive media featuring virtual reality, augmented reality, neurogames, interactive storytelling, immersive theatre, live events, performances and installations. The festival focus will be a large-scale, public-facing arcade of immersive media experiences. This exhibition will spill out onto the South Bank of the Thames to create a true festival atmosphere, including immersive experiences, interactive art installations, live demos and performances. Talks and masterclasses from the leading producers and thinkers in immersive media will be open to the public and industry alike, and you’ll be able to take part in hands-on workshops on how to create your own immersive experiences led by some of the artists and producers in the exhibition.

The Documentary Campus Masterschool is a programme for the development of documentary producers and directors across Europe who would like to gain success on the international market. I devised the curriculum, recruited the experts from among the leading producers and commissioners of international documentary, delivered training, provided mentoring and organised the public pitch the world’s top commissioners at DOK Leipzig.

I ran the 2014 edition of the Sheffield Doc/Fest - a recording breaking year with more delegates, higher public attendance, more national and international press, radio and TV coverage and a higher volume of deals done at the Meet Market and Crossover Market than ever before. Doc/Fest is one of the biggest documentary festivals in the world, comprising a Film Festival, Industry Session programme and Marketplace, offering pitching opportunities, controversial discussion panels and in-depth filmmaker masterclasses, as well as a wealth of inspirational documentary films from across the globe and world-famous parties. It is also at the forefront of digital innovation with Interactive at Sheffield bringing together a conference program, an exhibition and marketplace for interactive work. As Acting Festival Director, I was responsible for delivering the program and market activity for Doc/Fest 2015, managing the staff and budget, overseeing fund-raising and marketing, reporting to the board and funders and managing and developing relationships with stakeholders.

Worked on secondment for six months as Mutiplatform Commissioner at C4 during which time I won the BAFTA for Digital Creativity for the Live from Space link to the International Space Station, along with two Lovie Awards – Best European TV website and Audience Choice. It also won a special award from NASA.
