Mark Avery is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Bell Resources Limited, an electric vehicle charging and clean energy company. Mark, a graduate of Bond University, worked as a corporate advisor before founding Bell Resources in 2017.Mark is an experienced business leader, with extensive experience across a range of diversified industries, including property, childcare and legal. He has a strong background in business aggregation where he has been directly involved in the development, restructure, merger and/or acquisition of various companies across a number of industries. Mark has previously served as an Executive Director of an ASX listed company, which he co-founded.He also brings to Bell Resources multifaceted skills as an entrepreneur that extend across acquisition integration, mergers and acquisitions, management, IPOs, and due diligence, together with experience in multi-site corporate integration of small businesses.Mark is non-practising Solicitor and currently holds an Australian practising certificate, having graduated with a Bachelor of Laws and a Master of Business Administration from Bond University. Mark Avery was awarded with a Law Scholarship from Bond University in 1997. He is also member of the NSW Law Society.

From 2010 until 2017, Avery was Managing Partner of NewBridge, a consultancy business primarily focused on providing advisory services and funding strategies to property developers engaged in multistorey residential apartment projects. Avery assisted developers during the period secure over $165 million in seed, mezzanine, and project funding for multiple residential apartment projects across Sydney from domestic & international debt and equity funders, which included investments from high net worth Australian and mainland Chinese investors.

From 2007 until 2009, Avery was the Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Fox Legal Limited, a company that intended to acquire some eighteen specialist law firms and float them on the Australian Securities Exchange. The other directors of the company were Jonathan Shier (ex managing director of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC)), Jeffrey Goss (ex National Managing Partner of KPMG Legal) and Miles Hedge. The timing of the Global Financial Crisis (GFC) required the float and associated $75 million capital-raising to be aborted.

Mark Avery played a pivotal role in the development of the Australian childcare industry in the early 2000's. Avery was a major player in the consolidation and evolution of the Australian childcare industry from individually run small businesses into a large corporate enterprise. Avery was a Co-Founder & Executive Director of Childs Family Kindergartens Limited (CFK) a significant Australian childcare centre operator in early 2000s.In 2002, Avery acquired 40 childcare centres under an deed of option and in 2003 negotiated the sale of 40 childcare centres to ABC Learning Ltd by way of a trade-sale for $40 million providing shareholders with a $6.1 million profit.Then in 2004, Avery acquired another 37 childcare centres and in April 2005 listed CFK on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) by way of a $30 million in debt and equity funding facility, with $15 million in debt being provided by National Australia Bank Limited and $15 million in equity underwritten by Intersuisse. The equity issue was oversubscribed by $7 million.In late 2005, Macquarie Bank Limited approached CFK about becoming a major shareholder in the company along with multiple other institutional investors. Early in 2006, Avery finalised a deal with Macquarie Bank, which led to Macquarie making an $11 million equity placement and becoming the company's largest shareholder. Then in July 2006, Avery left CFK with Macquarie Bank's childcare division making plans to vend in their 30 New Zealand and 41 Australian privately owned and operated childcare centres into CFK with a view of challenging ABC Learning's dominance in the childcare sector with a strategy of becoming Australia's biggest childcare centre operator.In total, Avery successfully acquired 89 childcare businesses during the period and gained valuable experience in multi-site corporate integration.
