I recently completed a Bachelor of Science majoring in Zoology with minors in Bioinformatics and Computer Science. I have experience with the entire pipeline of molecular identification of insects in addition to having excellent morphological identifying skills, particularly with ants, and am well known as a prolific observer (world leader) and identifier of ants on the website iNaturalist.I have extensive experience in NATA accredited ISO17025 analytical laboratories as a senior laboratory technician. Experience with the breadth of analytical devices required for the analysis of soil, water, feed, supplements, food and other associated matrices. My main experience is with inorganic analysis, physical characteristics, and feed analysis.I have high level computer skills and have been responsible for local administration of LIMS, as well as developing tools in excel with VBA for the analysis of data. I have high distinctions for programming subjects in university including R, Java and Python.I learn extremely quickly and flexibly and am always looking for challenges to overcome.
