Being an environmental specialist you carry the responsibility of caring for both the planet and the animals that inhabit it. One of the many reasons I love my job is that everyday I get the opportunity to do just that. From environmental sampling to endangered species surveys my area of expertise is ever growing. My experience in this industry is invaluable as I continue to grow one project at a time. So that you don't get lost in my words, below is a list of a few of the projects I have worked on and what they entail.1) Mountain Valley Pipeline: This project encompassed both the state of Virginia and West Virginia and entailed conducting preliminary stream assessments prior to the pipelines crossing the streams. My role in this project was that of project manager and field lead for the state of West Virginia. I successfully lead more than 30 environmental scientists in this multi-million dollar project over the span of 6 months. I lead both the field effort and the data management effort for this project on more than one occasion and am fully capable of taking on leadership roles and responsibilities. 2) Housing Developers: These projects normally entail conducting Phase I ESA's , Phase II environmental sampling and Phase III remediation. I am efficient and experienced in conducting Phase I ESA's , water, vapor and soil sampling as well as environmental oversight of remediation efforts. 3) Various Solar Farms: Building solar farms usually entails a lot of environmental permitting and endangered species surveys, especially gopher tortoise surveys. Being an FWC registered gopher tortoise agent I can effectively survey, trap and relocate gopher tortoises. I am certified in mechanical excavation of gopher tortoises and have also conducted numerous endangered species surveys. 4) Wetland Delineation: Prior to even considering a property for construction and or residential purposes, one has to delineate and mitigate its wetlands. I have experience delineating wetlands in South, Central and Northern Florida, and have experience in the mitigation process.5) National Aeronautics and Space Administration: Working with NASA is something I formally brag about quite often. I have worked on projects involving the construction of remediation systems, deep well sampling, PFAS sampling and soil sampling among other things.It looks like I am going to hit my word limit.
