MBG Fine Art is a Working Studio, Gallery & School of Drawing and Painting.My personal work is principally representational figurative painting and commissioned portraits.I am currently working on a ten painting series of American made toys from the 1950's-60's era which will show along with ten figurative paintings in a one man exhibition in the Noyes Museum/Gallery at Stockton College in New Jersey in 2015.The MBG Fine Art School begins with a strong & unique focus on seeing, understanding, and representing values, the visual passage and accent of edges, the attributes of color and understanding "color space" and representing a real sense of atmosphere in a painting. With practice and proper use of this training one can avoid much of the frustration many artists experience and successfully represent any subject matter.I also offer graphic design services including branding / logo design.

I started Goodson Signs, Inc. when hand lettering skills with brush and paint were essential to the trade of sign making. With the aid of capable employees we developed the company into a modern computerized sign business.I sold the company in December 2000 to pursue a career in fine art.Goodson Signs, Inc. continues to be a successful business in the capable hands of it's new owner Jason Wunderlich.
