I have a passion for talent development and working with clients and prospects to enhance their programs and strategies. With the current war on talent acquisition development and retention, I work closely with companies to implement solutions that realize the desired return on investment. My previous assignment as Director of Business Development was to drive our adjoining products category. This included identifying market opportunities, managing P&L, pushing continuous product improvement and leading the charge to put more Larson adjoining products on the home. As a Director of Dealer Sales, I was responsible for Larson’s nationwide dealer and distributor business network. Sales and marketing expert with a demonstrated history of working in the lumber and building materials industry. I started my career with the company at the bottom as one of Larson’s first Field Representatives and quickly advanced into management at a young age. Additional career responsibilities included experience as Executive Divisional Manager of a sales team representing the Southwest United States, Divisional Manager, Regional Manager and Assistant Regional Sales Manager. I wore additional hats along the way as I recognized missing sales support opportunities. I became the creator and director of Larson’s product training programs, how to sell programs, and I was the visual talent used in sales skills videos and presentations within the company. I assisted in the design of Larson’s CRM and was known as the technology liaison between sales department and information sales department. Skilled in Negotiation, Retail Sales, Customer/Field/Sales Team Leadership and Account Development. I have thirty years experience with a strong belief in building company culture. I am a strong sales professional with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) focused in Business/Managerial Economics from South Dakota State University.
