I have been with Van Cleef Engineering Associates for nearly 23 years. I lead the Lehigh Valley PA office, which was opened as a one man shop more than 20 years ago. I am extremely proud of the team of outstanding professionals I work with in our office located in Bethlehem, PA. I have been instrumental in growing our water/wastewater business in NJ and PA, and expanding our corporate footprint into the Lehigh Valley and throughout northeastern Pennsylvania. The Lehigh Valley Office is a multi-talented group of professionals and offers a broad range of land development, water/wastewater and municipal engineering services. Our land development projects include 500+ unit residential developments, big box warehouses, 20 acre shopping centers, and thousands of apartment units. I also represent several water/wastewater authorities and have represented the Richland Township Water Authority for 22 years. I also led the design team that completed the Milford NJ WWTP Expansion Project in 2006. Our office also represents several municipalities including completing the award winning Southside Greenway and Skate Plaza projects for the City of Bethlehem. My travels at Van Cleef have also taken me off the beaten track, including design of a 500,000 sq. ft. office park in Houston, Texas in 2008 and a recent focus on managing design and construction of a 400 hundred acre duck farm in Berks County, PA that processes 35,000 ducks per day. My family and I live in Nazareth, Pennsylvania, and I am a proud graduate of Penn State University. I love to spend time in the great outdoors and I plan to hike the 110 mile John Muir Trail in California with my daughter Alison in August of 2020. Go Phillies!!

Leesport, Pa

Client representative to a number of water and sewer authorities providing a full range of services from project inception to operation. Responsibilities include project planning, identifying project constraints, financial analysis and obtaining funding. Managed design teams involved in developing initial concepts, obtaining regulatory approvals and preparing detailed plans and specifications. Design experience including overall facility layout, process piping, selection of treatment processes, pilot testing, etc. Extensive experience in obtaining grants and low interest loans from state and federal agencies, along with conventional bond issues. Also responsible for construction management services including project scheduling, shop drawing approval, resolution of construction conflicts, and initial facility start up. Operational experience includes providing support to system managers and management of daily operation activities as superintendent of operations for selected systems. Also provided a wide range of municipal engineering services as client representative to selected municipalities.Extensive private sector experience including design of residential, commercial and industrial subdivision and land development projects, including preparation of detailed designs, obtaining regulatory approvals and construction coordination.

Subdivision and land development manager for a major residential and commercial construction company. Annual production approximately 500 dwelling units. Responsibilities included management of site evaluation, municipal approval, and construction of residential and commercial projects. Managed the efforts of other staff members of the land development group along with outside consultants.

Quakertown, Pa

Project manager for a consulting engineering firm. Public water supply engineering including developing new groundwater supplies, storage and distribution systems for new public water systems. Managed projects from inception to completion, including client representation, design completion and construction management. Also responsible for numerous water supply and sewage disposal systems for new developments, upgrading and expansion of existing municipal systems. Additional responsibilities included subdivision and land development engineering. Managed numerous commercial and residential developments to obtain municipal approvals.
