About Mark Bailey
Torrey House Press converted to a nonprofit corporation in 2015. In 2017 Kirsten Allen took over management as publisher and executive director. Torrey House is the only independent nonprofit literary presses in the Intermountain West and the only publisher anywhere that focuses on conservation through both fiction and nonfiction. Conservation efforts in the West and worldwide need public support and awareness. What better way to promote awareness than through stories?I now serve on the board of Torrey House Press as Secretary Treasurer. I have served as Vice President of the Board at Western Watersheds Project and am past Chair of the Board of Wild Utah Project.My main career was as an investment manager where I helped get Wasatch Advisors, Inc. on the map. I was the founding chair of Spy Hop Productions. Now I want to help promote environmental conservation through literature (Torrey House Press) and advocacy (Western Watersheds Project).
