A wonderful career, built upon a challenging journey living and working in five of the businesses across three continents within the Associated British Foods group. Having gained practical operational experience across the entire supply chain in the fields, factories, and commercial space to the corporate office function and Managing Director positions. The opportunity to have created and delivered strategic business performance programmes, successfully navigating varied cultural and stakeholder boundaries in both developed and emerging markets has been an amazing learning and rewarding life, meeting and working with many talented individuals, organisations and governments. Safety improvement has always been a key passion in my life endorsed by a deeper desire for true learning and genuine organisational change to reduce risk at the point of harm. More to do.....My new company is working directly with other businesses that focus on continuing to drive towards better practice and operational excellence, especially in safety leadership from the boardroom to those most at risk.
