I was principally responsible for delivering vision and driving Glunz & Jensen's inkjet program. The overall objective was to develop an innovative inkjet CTP solution which could attain industry recognition, deviver a consumables revenue stream for Glunz & Jensen (previously only a capital equipment oriented company) and to have that solution reach a global market.By 2008, we reach Industry recognition, and the inkjet CTP business created a viable business with both Hardware and consumable sales for Glunz & Jensen.Every year from 2008 to 2012, the business grew by over 20% per year despite the global recession and contraction of the print industry. By 2012, both the consumables side of the inkjet business was performing and the hardware, with the consumables side of the business overtaking the hardware in terms of revenue and the equipment also reaching new dizzy heights, in October 2012 the 1000'th inkjet CTP unit sold. In November 2012 with Glunz & Jensen’s Inkjet business now achieving the objectives we set out, and as a profitable business targeted to deliver an estimated turnover which would exceed 40,000,000 DK in 2012-13, I left Glunz & Jensen to pursue other opportunities.
