The purpose of the centre is to promote mutually beneficial exchanges and cooperation between China and the United Kingdom to make contributions aligned with increasing relationships between the Chinese and British business communities and the policy of talent exchange/development.At present, the UKCNCC centre has become the focus of Chengdu's foreign exchange service institutions, located in the Chengdu Institute of Talent, Academy of Sciences, Zone B at Wisdom Valley, Wuhou District Chengdu, China. The centre will rely on the strength of Chengdu's "one belt and one road” initiative assisting in creating a national centre with international influence. At the same time, the centre will utilise global resources to discover a number of outstanding talents with an aptitude for innovation and advance the formulation of Chengdu's Western Creative Arts, Cultural and STEM talent centre.

Purchasing and cost control. Developing new business and Member leads.Devising short-term and long-term operational plans for the Club. Developing Health and safety standards and constructing risk assessments for work-place activities.Initiating recruitment and personal development plans.

The real importance of the office of vice-chairperson is found in the role and function I have in the British Chamber. The role is found in one word: Service - service to the Chairperson; service to the other Committee and representative members; and more importantly service to the general membership of the British Chamber of Commerce Southwest China.

Responsible for implementing Customer service training, Complaint handling, Service excellence, Standard operating procedures.

Responsible for the complete implementation of Club Standards, processes and policies, budgeting, training and project management. Delivering service excellence through on-going training. Purchasing and cost control. Maximizing revenue through strategic marketing. Devising short-term and long-term operational plans for the Club. Developing Health and safety standards and constructing risk assessments for work-place activities. Enhancing the current emergency action plans and initiating weekly evacuation drills.
