    I started up the first advanced machining centers at AmesburyTruth (Schlegel Systems) Rochester, NY division. Custom tooling here was previously outsourced at a cost of $200K-$250K per year. With Solidworks software, Mastercam software, CNC Vertical Mill, EDM drill and a Wire EDM I am able to design and build custom tooling in house. Working along with Process Engineers we are able to save time on new product development. A new product plastic extrusion process that previously would take 4-8 weeks outsourcing can now be designed and completed in same week. Applying lean manufacturing concepts and designing/building fixtures to reduce setups needed to create custom extrusion tooling. We are always looking for ways to improve our production process with new custom tooling. Working directly with Process Engineers to increase efficiency on production lines and reduce scrap.

Working at P Tool provided me with a very diverse background to many different area's of custom tooling needs.
