Direct the operations of multiple Community Banking Districts to ensure effective and efficient performance, quality of member service, and compliance with existing regulations and policies. Participate in the strategic planning and management of credit union branch operations. Ensure each district manager is providing quality service to staff and members alike in all areas of branch operations, and meeting expectations in support of Regional goals. Identify and develop District Managers to meet performance expectations and become future senior leaders within the organization. Manage performance of District operations in relation to set goals. • Lead the credit union’s long- and short-term strategic planning for assigned Districts.• Communicate strategy and goals with district managers to ensure clear understanding and direction.• Manage performance to ensure Strategic, Lending, and Deposit goals for Districts are successfully met.• Ensure Districts actively participate in talent acquisition initiatives, including networking, referral, and on-campus recruiting.• Provide coaching to support and maintain a well-performing, motivated leadership group. Proactively succession plan to ensure internal pool of future leaders meets strategic business needs.• Effectively support internal staff development. • Provide input to the development of training programs for appropriate branch personnel.• Maintain an environment of successful performance, management coaching, and staff development that effectively supports employee retention goals.• Oversee the development and monitoring of performance standards.• Develop, implement, and monitor procedures to comply with credit union policies, and governmental rules and regulations.• Prepare budget for Districts and track on an ongoing basis for adherence.• Acts as Community Banking authority in a specific functional area such as: Commercial Lending, Consumer/Mortgage Lending, Indirect Lending, Delinquency Management.
