• Reporting to the General Manager of Operations I am the Manager for the Materials and Supply Chain function in the production of the JCB Backhoe Loader machine. The Management of 33 operatives that include 5 direct.
• Direct Management of 5 Team Leaders and a total of 33 reports within the Supply Chain team.
• Management of the onsite 3PL (DHL).
• Directly responsible for the Health and Safety of all operatives within the Materials and Supply Chain function.
• Ensuring the department is BSI ISO9001 and 15001 compliant.
• Responsible for an annual departmental budget of £550K.

• Reporting to the Production Control Manager I am the First Line Manager for Supply Chain function for the production of the JCB Backhoe Loader. The management of 6500 parts from 260 suppliers, with and average.
• Direct Supervisor of 8 supply chain operatives within the Planning and Logistics teams, including Perpetual count team.
• Responsible for the direct training and coaching of planning functions.
• Team appraisals and setting objectives.
• Driving daily, weekly and monthly KPI’s and ensuring continuous improvement targets are achieved.
• Responsible for the introduction and management of new processes to improve the planning function and the supply of Material into JCB Backhoe.

• Manager of 27 operatives working in Goods Receiving, Despatch and Logistics departments.
• Managing a departmental budget of £1.2 million pounds.
• Collating, managing and reporting team KPI’s and ensuring that daily, weekly and monthly performance and budget targets are met.
• Managing team shifts, holidays, time, attendance, training, development and any underperformance and disciplinary action.
• Ensuring that my team have a safe place and safe systems of work and ensuring that all employees adhere to the LOR group Health and Safety Policies.
• Ensuring that LOR group Quality standards are met.

• Supervisor of a supply chain and Goods Receiving team – 2 Supply Chain analysts, 6 Line Feeders, 300 suppliers, 5300 parts, £2 million inventory.
• Recording of associated KPI’s. To include inventory, arrears, schedule history and planning performance.

• Management of internal Kitting and Goods Receiving processors.
• Liaising with external suppliers to improve internal processors and production.

• Ensuring that inventory levels are kept accurate.
• Managing inventory levels and keeping them to a minimum.
• Constant communication with colleagues, internal and external suppliers to ensure that the production and supply of materials into JCB is both efficient and continuous to enable the production lines to run smoothly.
• Analysing issues and problems that occur within the workplace.
