Accomplishments included successful transition to new offshore partners and service stabilisation for SAP and pharmacy systems.

Led multiple teams with the Applications Development and Maintenance function for Aviva UK GI, one of the UK's leading insurance companies.My role included full applications life cycle responsibility for circa 450 applications, including Oracle ERP and BI/MI. Also, led Supplier Management team within AD&M.

Led teams of commercial and procurement specialists in the contract management and sourcing fields, including the creation and leading of the team responsible for the commercial relationship with HPES, for Aviva's UK data centre and infrastructure services.Responsible for in excess of £100m of spend.

Initially responsible for the integration of the RAC IT Services, including, service desk, desktop and hosting/infrastructure services via an outsourced contract with Wipro. Moved on to leading a team of circa 150 internal and external people in the delivery of various IT services, including, 24x7 availability centre (aka IT ops bridge), IT security, distributed IT hosting, messaging and EDI and print management. Lead the implementation of an offshore strategy with TCS, which achieved savings targets and a 98% off shore ratio.May 2008 - led service and transformation work streams as part of DC outsourcing programme. Member of Aviva deal team, which led to 10-year outsource agreement with EDS/HPES.

Reporting to the Global Director of IT Offshoring who was based in India, I had responsibility for managing the commercial relationship with TCS and Wipro. A major achievement was the successful of re-negotiation of day rates two years into a 7 year deal.
