About Maj Gen (Ret.) Mark Bartman

After serving as The Adjutant General, Ohio National Guard from 2015 – 2019, I founded 9G Consulting LLC. From 2019 - 2023 I was a consultant for Parallax Advanced Research and The Ohio State University to support the development of technology and innovation with researchers and small businesses to support the AFRL, NASA-GRC, NASIC and NAMRU-D. The primary programs I supported were the Ohio Federal Research Network (OFRN) and the Academic Partnership Engagement Experiment (APEX). The former was a State of Ohio funded program and the later a PIA for the Department of the Air Force. As of 1 June 2023 I am the VP for Advanced Development for Parallax Advanced Research Corp. I bring the senior military experience of commanding the 4th largest State National Guard to organizations wanting to solve complex problems, address diversity and inclusion, and bring about change. I also acted as a legislative agent for the State of Ohio with over ten years of experience working with elected officials at the federal, state and local level to create, implement and revise policy.
