I'm originally from a very small town in Massachusetts. I've been studying acting since the age of 16 and started commuting to Boston, MA and Hartford, CT at 17 to take acting classes and won the high school drama award my senior year at the age of 18. I continued to study acting in college at UMASS while also studying the technical side, learning camera, audio, editing, etc. After graduating, I started worked for a local ABC affiliate in Springfield, MA for about a year. After moving to LA, I got into the entertainment business working as an Executive Assistant at most of the major studios, including 20th Century Fox, Paramount, Warner Bros,and Turner (Cartoon Network, TBS, TNT). In the mid 1990's, I got the opportunity to be Personal Assistant to movie legend Faye Dunaway for about a year and had the funny coincidence of being mentioned in a People Magazine about Faye. And Ms. Dunaway helped me get my SAG card by getting me a part in her movie Dunston Checks In (1996)! After joining SAG-AFTRA, I continue to enhance my studies by attending their acting and casting workshops to grow as an actor and to get in front of casting directors. I was also cast as the lead in an AFI short film called C-Day, was in a sketch-comedy troupe called Soapbox for awhile, performing and writing sketches, and have been in several musicals and plays. I take voice lessons from one of the top Vocal Coaches in LA, Dr. Karen Jennings, which lead me to working with a musician who engineered three music tracks, which I wrote & arranged the vocals for, and created a three-song EP. In the late 90's, I decided to become a massage therapist & fitness instructor to help people, get them healthy, and make them feel good. These are my current day jobs which i love! Now, I have the good fortune to be studying acting with legendary Emmy Award winner Lindsay Wagner (The Bionic Woman). With her mentor-ship, I hope to achieve that elusive "big break" that all talented and hard-working actors strive for.
