Mark A. Bauer has more than thirty years experience in chief executive and lead fundraising roles in non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and hospitals. Mark has led “start-ups” and non-profits with 1-6 staff members, most with budgets under $1 million. Yet, he also brings the broad perspective and depth of knowledge gained from serving international non-profits, major universities, and state government. He has learned how to accomplish much with little. Mark has built effective Boards and worked with donors of gifts up to $3 million. He has led historic capital campaigns from the staff side and consulted with dozens of small non-profits about campaign strategies and tactics. In 2015, he received the William Jenkins Award as Fraternal Foundations executive of the year.Mark’s leadership qualities are all based in solid core values and principles. He is a visionary, who has proven, with repetition, to have the ability to build capacity and move organizations of people forward. His action trait is "catalytic facilitation" - he makes things happen - of effective processes which yield dramatic results for program expansion and funding. Mark is foremost a Christian believer and joyful husband, father, grand-father, and true friend. He is always happy to talk about these things which define his identity and square up priorities in his life.He has a law degree, from Southwestern University in Los Angeles, California, which has given him a 360-degree view of those he has led and served. He is also a graduate of California State University, Fullerton.
