As part of the Management Team on Moray East Offshore Windfarm during the Construction phase I had responsibility for all aspects of the development team, including consenting, environmental compliance & monitoring, stakeholder management, communications and community engagement.Being part of the Management Team led to involvement in many decisions critical to the successful delivery of Moray East. Moray East was a critical infrastructure project delivered during the pandemic, which added another layer of complexity that the Moray East team navigated in a safe and disciplined way

Lead Project Manager for Scottish & Southern Energy Networks to procure the most cost-effective solution to power the Shetland Islands - a unique and highly complex programme of work.

Worked as part of the Executive Team at Smarter Grid Solutions, a technology business focussed on enabling the energy transition, through a platform solution, connecting distributed energy resources and managing those assets flexibly to maximise value. Focussed on growth of the UK and European business I lead Sales and Operational teams to meet the needs of our customers.

Worked for Statkraft, seconded onto the Forewind (JV) as their representative, successfully delivering four 1.2GW Offshore Wind Farms consents. As part of this role I: - Was part of the Senior Management Team at Forewind, responsible for jointly approving spend and strategic decisions in relation to the organisation and the £120million budget; - With the SMT re-organised Forewind into a delivery focussed organisation. This included the embedding of a project governance structure to improve activities within the projects; - Communicated project progress to the Asset Management Teams, and Project Board, of the respective JV companies. Key part of this role was communicating clearly to varying stakeholders to enable decisions to be made progressing the projects safely;- Managed multi-disciplinary team, both in-house and contractors, to deliver a programme of work to secure the Development Consent Orders.

Managed the Teeside Dogger Bank Projects. Working with Consenting Managers, Engineering Managers, and Offshore and Onshore EIA specialists to deliver the materials, studies, reports and consultations required to deliver the DCO submission.

I was secondment to the Forewind for the majority of my time at Statkraft. A joint venture with Statoil, RWE and SSE to develop 13GW of Offshore Wind on Dogger Bank, the largest of the UK round 3 development sites.In addition to the Forewind role at Statkraft I participated in business development to identify new opportunities in Offshore Wind, and worked as part of team initiating a programme of work to build out the organisational capability within Statkraft to design, build and operate in the Offshore Wind space.

Seconded onto Crossrail

As Lead Environmental Planner I was responsible for 3 new underground stations (Tottenham Court Road, Paddington and Farringdon) and a tunnelling contract, reporting directly to the Project Director and Project Managers. The role focussed on delivering detailed design, procurement of enabling and main works contracts and overseeing onsite construction. Within this role I:· Successfully managed multi-disciplinary contractors to deliver Design work packages to meet the programme timetables;· I held a decision maker role in the Assurance Gate Reviews, approving Work Packages to move forward. Where necessary I would challenge design decisions to meet the necessary requirement of the project;· Reviewed and assessed Construction Tenders during significant procurement exercises to ensure tenders met the necessary requirements;· During both enabling and construction works, I worked with Engineering and Construction Contractors to ensure contract requirements were being met, minimising delays to the construction programme and any associated cost implications.

Worked in the sustainability team managing a number of projects for private sector clients, relating to sustainability, Environmental Management and Climate Change. I was also seconded onto the Crossrail Project as part of my role here.

- Led a variety of energy, transport and climate change projects and programmes for public sector clients to help implement policy decisions that would lead to industry adopting new sustainable practices. Typically the projects involved production of best practice guides, data collection and analysis, stakeholder engagement events, marketing and engagement to business:- Successfully Led the Safe and Fuel Efficient Driving Programme on behalf of Scottish Government, engaging Scottish Hauliers to participate in the programme. Working with Trade Associations we were able to meet the objectives of the programme and demonstrate.- Was an area manager on the Envirowise Programme, delivering environmental initiatives across the UK;- Supported the WRAP programme;
