Mark started his working life in 1981, with Scrimgeour Kemp-Gee, one of the UK’s leading stock broking firms which was subsequently acquired by CITI the giant American Investment Bank where he worked in their private division. He left CITI in 1991 to join Private Fund Managers, the London private client investment arm of the Edinburgh Fund Managers Group PLC where he was an associate director.He was recruited in 1995 by Whitehead Monckton in order to help establish the Investment Management Department. He was one of the first in the UK to be awarded the prestigious Chartered Financial Planning title and is also a fellow of the Personal Finance Society, a Chartered member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and an accredited adviser to the universities superannuation scheme. In July 2013 he became Branch Principal and Chartered Financial Planner for Raymond James Weald of Kent Branch.Mark specialises in providing financial advice and portfolio management services to individual clients and trusts.
